Truth is all those angels starting acting the same, and life in Eden changed. |
tag: -- words: ### | ▸ | Nysa. A lifetime was a blip in time for the universe, for all life that had gone before. It was the first time Nysa found herself without her sister and it was a strange feeling, and at the same time liberating. There was a part that was pulling her back, but it was a bearable sensation still and Nysa saw a world of possibility open up. She had wandered off in the ruins, lost chasing butterflies, trotting over fallen stones, exploring crevices where rocks leaned on one another for support. She had stumbled onto a an unusually large willow tree. The belle of gold entered the welcoming canopy and was enchanted by the majesty of the place...the tranquility of it...what solace could be found. Perhaps not all the world was as dark as they had seen it to be. Thorns folded and after a time she had pressed on and now found herself here...wherever here was.
Knowing this was unknown territory, she dreaded carefully, her dark brown tinted pillars picked footing carefully so she thought...to a cougar or any other equine she might have been making a lot of noise crunching on leaves and snapping branches, etc. She stopped behind a young oak and looked out into the clearing...pondering if she should go any further without first getting Aeri. They wind played her dark chocolate locks, revealing the white star on her forehead as she turned back. Nysa now realized she was not so sure she could trace her steps back...the lithe just seemed completely unfamiliar now. Now the fae was starting to worry a little. Turning forth again, she decided perhaps the best course was forward...Aeri would find her...Aeri always did. It would not hurt to see what was here...it was not as if Nysa was completely poor and helpless. There was no fear in her dark auburn eyes...just pure curiosity.

Well, you can always change the color scheme of the premade layouts--that's usually what I do. But as for masculine...lemme go see...

Take all these broken dreams and turn them into something beautiful. |
tag: open words: 405 | ▸ | Aeri. The ruins had a solace to them: silence, peace, loneliness...and for once Aeri found herself feeling safe here. She found herself a cozy spot while her sister took play and chased butterflies or some other silly activity while Aeri decided to do what she had not done in a long time...sleep. With the quiet it was easy and in moment she had slipped into dreamland. It was not so long ago really...that harsh winter was the worse they had endured and their mother had already become frail having to adjust to the elements and care for two young. Nysa was always at their mother's side while Aeri, the elder and more daring of the pair, took lead, explored and wandered off at times. She had always been a brave filly. Chasing foxes and teaching herself to swim in strong currents. Those days were the happy days...when their mother was with them. Watching and worrying, and soothing them to sleep, and teaching them about the stars, and telling stories about their father, her tribe, her days as a filly. Then that one winter came...the winter where they finally lost the only one that ever cared about them. The sounds of Nysa sobbing, the low mist of their mother's breathing, and the rise and fall of her lungs...ever so faint. The light in her eyes starting to dim, There was darkness and then Aeri found herself by the Moon Pool staring at her own reflecting in the gentle waters. Her mother was beside her smiling, but when she turned to look there was no one there. Thorns folded as the wind tousled her dark mane. "My brave little one...it's okay to be happy..." her mother's voice seemed to whisper in her ear...
Eyes fluttered open. How long had she been dreaming? Nysa was nowhere in sight. Shook off the sleep and took off to find her sister, finally winding up at the Moon Pool again. Her eyes scanned the lithe but still her sister was not to be found there. Aeri took a moment to near the water where she had stood in her dream. She looked into the waters and saw her own reflection. There was a part of her that was angry all the time, defensive, and while she would not admit it...lonely. Sacrifices were made so that they could survive.....and the times might finally be starting to take a toll. She had to find Nysa.
