Traveling on her own didn't exactly grow boring to Aphrodite; if anything, the mare was a wanderer at heart, prepared to travel the lands until she found exactly what it was she was looking for. Even if she never found her beloved again, at least she could take comfort in knowing the fact that she wouldn't settle, either; she couldn't. What was she supposed to do? Move on, and pretend that she could fall in love with someone else? That the pain from her love's capture had ceased to exist? No. She couldn't do that, and she wouldn't. So instead, Aphrodite continued to travel on her own, finding various stallions who were interested in a pretty face for a short time, before moving on with her life. It had been a while since she had chosen to stay in one place for any long period of time, her attention drawn by various other things, including any handsome stallion that happened to walk by. She often mocked them for being so easily drawn away by a pretty face, but in reality, she was just as easily bought. Not to stay, of course, but to connect with someone for a short time was something that was special; it should've been more sacred than she made it, but Aphrodite had never cared much about that. She didn't believe in making it out to be so pure, when in reality, it didn't seem to be that way to her at all. The wind blowing through her mane and tail, tangling them, was beginning to irritate her. She worked hard to look her best; she'd thought the desert would be a good place to remain dry and to search for stallions more rugged in appearance, which was something that Aphrodite definitely could've used at this point. It would cheer her up, at least. wicca
