The Non-Scary Rules

They're not that scary. Really. These are more like friendly reminders of common sense and etiquette.

⊹ Order of Conduct ⊹

1. Follow Proboards' Terms Of Service.
2. PG-13 appropriate posts.
3. Always credit image / template code owner(s).
4. Do not bad-mouth other members. Issues? PM Enchantress.
5. Respect all staff. Issues? Again, PM Enchantress.
6. Absences: kindly let us know in Absentee Notes so there will be no misunderstandings about posting delays.

⊹ Chat Etiquette ⊹

1. Vent spamming and advertising? There are boards for that.
2. Keep swearing limited and PG-13 in line with Proboard's TOS.
3. Be polite. A little respect goes a long way. PM Enchantress if you see any flaming or bullying.

⊹ Posting Basics ⊹

1. Minimum word count per IC post: 100 words. Easy!
2. No power-playing or god-modding unless previously agreed. (What's that? See 3 under III. Roleplaying Etiquette)
3. Liquid time is allowed and encouraged - just don't go too crazy with it, okay? (What's that? See I. Terminology)
4. No replies to your thread? Allow the other roleplayer some time before kindly reminding them. We all have a life outside of WW, after all.

⊹ Character Creation ⊹

1. WildWhispers is a semi-realistic equine roleplay. Self-explanatory, right?
2. Please wait for your characters to be approved by staff before roleplaying.
3. New members/beginning roleplayers: we suggest no more than two characters for the first two weeks. After that, you may create/adopt as many characters as you can actively handle.
4. Abnormal coats or colorings are allowed as long as it has been purchased from the Super Store.

⊹ Breeding & Foaling ⊹

1. Stallions may only breed THREE (3) times per week. Mares may breed ONE (1) time per week. This is suppose to be somewhat realistic, after all.
2. Mares must be at least 2.5 years old for successful breedings.
3. Graphic breeding roleplaying are only allowed via private message.
4. Mares are pregnant for one week in real life time.
5. Staff will reply to your breeding thread with foal stats.

⊹ Aging ⊹

1. Foals - 0 to 1 year old.
2. Colts / fillies - 1 to 2 years old.
3. Stallions / mares - 3 to 20 years old.
4. Elders - 21+ years old.
5. Maximum age: 30 years old.
6. During absences: if you do not want your characters to age, post in the Absentee Notes and state that you wish your characters to be 'frozen.' Otherwise, your characters will age in real time.

⊹ Adoption ⊹

1. Once you adopt a character, please roleplay it actively for at least two weeks.
2. Adopted characters must be kept one month before putting it back up for adoption.
3. Follow the character's original personality and history.
4. Exemption: If it's a "default" character (one made by the staff, not a hand-off), you may change the name and alliance. If the character is from another member, the original owner must give written permission for any changes.

3. Always credit image / template code owner(s). Give credit where credit is due. A simple link to the original source isn't hard or time-consuming.
4. Do not bad-mouth other members. If there is someone who is doing something clearly wrong or bullying another member, please PM Enchantress to report. If you really need to vent, please keep it in private messages and keep to the site's maturity and professionalism.
5. Respect all staff. They are there to help the site run smoothly. If there are any issues or tensions, PM Enchantress.
6. Absences. We all have period of time when we need to deal with real life. All we ask is to kindly let us know in Absentee Notes so there will be no misunderstandings about posting delays, and your characters will be kept safe and sound.

1. WildWhispers is a semi-realistic equine roleplay, so there will be no human interactions. May have other animal interactions but none as a character. (Example: you may roleplay a short section of your mare interacting and talking with a bird, but the bird may not become an actual character.)
