Name: Brazen
Breed: Andalusian-Appaloosa cross
Age: 3 years, six months
Gender: Stallion
Alliance: Tribe of Racing Winds
Pelt: An elegant, molten mixture of dark and light gray dapples, but maintains a lighter color towards his face. Black muzzle and lower legs.
Mane/Tail: Black
Eye color: Dark
Height: 16.7
Personality: Noble and reserved, Brazen prefers to keep to himself. He doesn't talk much and is very mentally secluded. He can be harsh and uninviting when one first meets him, but that is merely the test to see who is truly worthy of his trust. It is quite tough to get to know him, and for that no one knows his past. Once you're his friend, he is silently but completely loyal. However, it is not wise to betray him. He is very cunning and could put down most in a fight, but he is rather slow when it comes to a swift gallop. Brazen hates flaky characters as well as those who are just too cheery; he sees these as annoying. He prefers horses who are reserved like himself and don't do a great deal of pointless talking. Overall, he can be a bit abrasive on the outside sometimes, but he has a good heart.
History: Brazen was born a loner. His parents met very far away from the land of the Tribes. His father, an Andalusian, had recently been cast out from his herd; he had been beaten by a younger stallion. His mother, an Appaloosa, was youthful when she decided to part from her small band to travel with an outsider, who later became her mate. They dwelled peacefully on the sandy plains until twins were born. These were Brazen and a dainty filly. They lived in a small, secluded area for a few months before things took a turn for the worst. A group of strong bachelor stallions came and attacked the family. Brazen's sister was struck down first. His father and mother fought for their lives. Though the attackers' intention was to take Brazen's mother and kill the rest, they were suddenly forced to defend themselves and kill her. A couple of the enemies had fled by now, and the Andalusian killed the last stallion. By the end, Brazen and his father were both injured and devastated. The Andalusian knew of a land of horses far to the north; perhaps they would take his battered son. After all, Brazen still fed partly from milk, and he couldn't fulfill that duty. After a moment of mourning their fallen, they set off. Soon they came to the edge of a Tribe's territory. The Andalusian knew he would not be welcome in his ragged, beaten state, so he left Brazen there. The colt wandered a while, but arrived in the territory of the Tribe of Racing Winds. He was taken in and cared for to adulthood.
