It had been sometime since he had crossed paths with Luna near the summit of the mountain pass. What a lovely time that had been, but once again he found himself drifting in this world alone. Being alone wasn’t something he really liked for being born and raised in a lively herd Wolfgang had grown used to being around other horses. Oh how he missed all their faces. Thinking about them made him sad because he knew there was a number of them he’d never see again. Is siblings and friends being a couple faces that was up in the air. Ever since his fight with his brother he had been a bit of a mess. Though he held it together on the outside, inside he was fighting a war of wit with his own emotions. ”Stupid, stubborn, pig head mule!” He cursed in an annoyed voice. Though it wasn’t clear if the comment was dedicated to himself or someone else. Perhaps it was aimed towards both himself and his older brother. Honestly their fight had been so stupid he really couldn’t believe they had it. Still they had and it ended with Wolfgang leaving the small group to find his own path. Which honestly might have been for the best if he had stayed with them then he wouldn’t have met Luna or got to watch the beautiful sunrise. Standing in the opening of a cave he watched the sky slowly rise over the land below. It was amazing so glorious. So ”Beautiful.” He cooed. The word left his lips smoothly and calmly. A small smile spread across his lips as he gently lended against the wall. The chill of the morning wind made him shiver but he refused to return back to the shelter of the cave because he didn’t wish to miss the kiss of the new dawn. princess

I don't know, I don't know, I don't know why I do it every, every, every time Aphrodite was.. tired, mostly. Not necessarily from traveling (though she hadn't traveled this much in a while, it was definitely taking some sort of toll on her body), but more of emotional exhaustion. She'd met a lot of horses recently; too many, if you asked her, and yet, not the one that she'd been hoping to see. Realistically, she knew that he wouldn't appear out of thin air; it had been years, and there'd been no word from him since the day he was taken. Aphrodite wasn't even sure where she would begin searching for the humans that had taken him, no matter how much she wanted to exact her revenge on them. A voice (one that was either very angry or very self-deprecating, or perhaps both), caught Aphrodite's attention. While she was exhausted, she could never seem to turn down the opportunity to meet someone else, especially when it might offer her an escape from her own thoughts. Despite her best efforts to tame them, her thoughts could run beyond wild sometimes, bordering on terrifying at other times. She wasn't entirely sure how to fix it; all she knew was that she didn't want to deal with them for the rest of her life. The only thing that could help her, perhaps, was either moving on or finding the love that she'd lost years ago. But for the moment, she followed the voice, coming upon a stallion who looked to be at least a couple of years younger than her, albeit still fairly attractive. This was fine, she could work with this. "In need of some company?" She asked as she approached, careful not to startle him; in her experience, some stallions could grow more aggressive when they felt threatened. Then again, who could be threatened by her? She was the picture of beauty; she wasn't a fighter by any means. image credit; taken from herelyric credit; Sober by Demi Lovato Angie

Standing there the steed couldn’t help but feel like a mix of emotions. The reason why all these emotions where coming out now was perhaps because being up here had been mind clearing. That and he really had never allowed himself to filter through them. Heck he still gets nightmares of the fire. Wolf can still hear the crackling of the fire, the screams of those trapped and smell the choking smoke. Shaking his head he snorted loudly. His ears pinned against his skull as he took a deep breath and slowly let it out. Thinking about things that make his happy as he tried to calm down. Standing there with his eyes closed he allowed the feel of the wind to blow coldly across his body. Feeling his heartbeat finally start to slow down back to a calm pace he started to relax. Then hoof steps and a voice. It wasn’t a bad voice, it sounded rather nice for it belonged to a mare and he smiled gently. Brown eyes opening slowly he looked at the lady and couldn’t help but notice her coloring. My my she was mighty pretty indeed. The voice did match the looks. Dipping his head to her politely he spoke in a much calmer voice than before. ”If you’d like to stay I wouldn’t say no.” looking at the lady he couldn’t help but wonder how could he got so lucky meeting two lovely ladies in the matter of hours from each other. ”I am Wolfgang and please excuse me from being to bold, but you have lovely eyes.” He added shyly as he looked at her then away before peeking back at her. princess

I don't know, I don't know, I don't know why I do it every, every, every time It was nice to meet someone cooperative, especially after the day that Aphrodite had had, and in response to his comment, she moved closer, almost slowly, pleased that he was accepting towards her company. After all, it only proved to make her feel better about herself when stallions were willing to allow her to provide them with "company;" besides, she needed something to do or she would go half-mad. "Well in that case, I'm more than happy to stay," She responded, in the same sultry voice that she'd used before. It was one that had served Aphrodite well in the past, and quite possibly would do so again in the near future. She wasn't certain she would classify that comment as bold, necessarily; it was sweet, she supposed, but she had heard much crasser from stallions she'd only met a matter of moments ago, and somehow, his comment didn't quite hold up. Still, she ducked her head as if embarrassed, allowing herself to laugh (not mockingly, but sweetly), the very picture of a kind young mare. That was not who Aphrodite was, as anyone who had spent time with her could later tell; but then again, she supposed the illusion wasn't doing any harm. He wanted her company, didn't he? That in itself was enough to please Aphrodite, though it didn't take much these days, either. "That's kind of you," She remarked, with a small smile. "I appreciate the compliment. I'm Aphrodite." She didn't introduce herself often, but she was willing to do so if it got her what she wanted, and she figured this stallion seemed harmless enough. Clingy, perhaps, if she got unlucky; but he didn't appear to hold any intent to harm. She could live with that. image credit; taken from herelyric credit; Sober by Demi Lovato Angie

The Gypsy Vanner was raised to treat mares as equal to himself and that was something he holds to even today. Why wouldn’t he? They could be just as strong, cunning and wild as stallions. Heck they were so tough they grew little ones inside them. He couldn’t do that! Which was a shame for he deeply longed for a family. His brother had his mate planned out for him and he had no one. No one to love and no one to love him. Sure having more then one mate was a thing in the old herd, but Wolf was a simple steed who wanted to find the one lady to spend the rest of his life with and raise a family together with only her. Some would call him selfish to hoard a single mare all for himself, others would call him stupid, a fool for not just taking anyone and everyone who tickled his fancy. To them he’d say go jump off a cliff. Everyone has their own desires, and their own way of seeing things.
At the moment the things he was seeing was the company of the lovely mare before him. Smiling he felt comfortable with her. She seemed rather sweet and she was rather pretty. Rather or not she was his future mate was not something he could see at the current moment in time as that wasn’t how love worked. His parents hadn’t choose his future mate for him so he has to figure it out himself. One thing he knew is he would never force a mare into that. He wanted her to join him willingly and he be her whole world for she would surely be his. ”Though I do not wish to come off as shallow. Beauty is more then skin deep after all.” He added politely his face slightly flushing red. He was bashful and for him it wasn’t an act. Though he had spoken to many ladies before he had always had either his brother or sister around with him. ”Aphrodite, what a wonder charming name.” He chimes softly as he thought about it as it rolled off his tongue. ”So are you from around here?” He asked after a small pause while trying to make small talk to get to know her better.

I don't know, I don't know, I don't know why I do it every, every, every time Being shallow herself, Aphrodite had never minded; she'd heard far too many comments based solely on her appearance to care, after all. She wanted stallions to find her pretty. Otherwise, what was she supposed to do, strike up a conversation and hope that they would be attracted to her at the end of it? No, it was far better for them to find her pretty at the beginning; beautiful, if she were lucky, though Aphrodite's luck rarely ran out. It was something she was thankful for, really. But instead of responding with a scoff at the comment, Aphrodite offered a sweet smile, playing the part she had chosen for herself. "You're too kind," She responded, lowering her head a little. "It's rare to meet someone who believes that. I appreciate it." It was nice to hear, she supposed, even if she didn't necessarily believe it herself; but Aphrodite knew better than to question others' beliefs.. when she was trying to get with them, that was. That seemed to be all she cared about these days, though she hadn't had to work hard; there were a lot of stallions around here and not nearly enough time for Aphrodite to concern herself with the morals of each one. Besides, it didn't matter much to her what they believed, as long as they offered her a good time for a short while and were willing to let her go in the end. "Oh? You like it, hm?" Effortlessly, the mare slipped back into a sultry tone, stepping a little closer. She was careful to leave herself room to move, should the stallion choose to become aggressive; she'd been around some before who had preferred not to be so close to her, though those were the type she could generally spot before flirting with them. The ones with dedicated families, their offspring nearby (but their mate nowhere to be seen, she'd generally noticed), who would kick at her if they got the chance. They didn't appreciate someone coming in and attempting to steal their lives away, but Wolfgang didn't seem like he'd do that. He seemed nice. "Not exactly," She responded, trying to figure out the best way to say I'm just passing through to look for the kidnapped love of my life and perhaps get a few new experiences, but there didn't seem to be a good way to say that and retain the easy conversation they'd kept going so far. There was no way he'd be remotely interested in her after that, either; Aphrodite didn't mention her beloved to the stallions she was with. Nobody wanted to hear about that, anyway. "I've been looking to try something new, I suppose. I'm not sure if I'll end up staying here, but it's.. nice." She wasn't sure what else to say other than that, and half-wished she could find some way to break the conversation. Angie image credit; taken from herelyric credit; Sober by Demi Lovato

Wolfgang had never truly been a hardcore flirt. Sure he liked to tease and flirt with the ladies of the herd before all that happened. That was different though as those were mares he had grown up with. Some of the younger ones were a bit mean and jealous of his darling twin sister so to him they were ugly. Yes they were pretty on the outside, but their words, their actions had made him see the ugliness they had inside of them. To him what is on the inside is just as important if not more important than the outside. A mare could be a simple plan run of the mill girl, be a single soul in a sea of chestnuts that all look the same, but if her heart is pure and she has a tender spirit to him she would be the most gorgeous creature on the face of the planet.
Shaking his head gently to move his mane out of his face he cleared his thoughts while looking at the mare near him. She was a pretty fine looking bay. Not the only bay mare he had ever come across, but she seemed to be sweet. That of course made him drawn to her even more. If it was all an act or not he didn’t know, however he didn’t seek flaws in others. After all if one was going to judge someone on being polite she could do the same with him as no one clearly knew everything about another on the first meeting. For all this lady knew Wolfgang could just be playing her and really be a serial killer looking for his next plaything.
“I do like it, it is rather nice to roll around on the tongue.” He cooed as he moved a little closer and without thinking reached his head towards her to sniff her mane. “Mmm such a lovely smell.” He said without thinking before catching himself and pulling back. “I am sorry I, um that was. Sorry.” He fumbled to get the words out as he looked away from her. ‘Why did I do that?’ He scolded himself in his mind. After a few moments he spoke up again. “Yes it is nice here. I plan to stay and settle down here. Perhaps start a family though probably not right here, as in on this mountain, but a nice tree lined meadow would be rather nice.” He mused for a few moments before he turned to face her again hoping not to get kicked in the face from earlier.
