History ::
Envy was the first born out of the twins. Envy's other sibling shortly followed. The twin sisters mother was over the moon to have two little fillies, and beautiful fillies they were at that. However, their father had mixed reviews. They were never planned and he was disgusted that he had to be responsible for two foals, let alone one. He bit both of the fillies in front of their mother to show that he was appalled with what she had produced. Of course it was not her fault. He was the one who raped her.
Envy's father had not been as severe to both sisters as much as their brother had been. Delighted at the news that they had a baby brother, the pairs joy was cut short when the colt was beaten in front of their very eyes. Horrified, Envy tried to help their new-born brother, only to be molested minuets later. Envy never had a choice but to stay away. The one year old mare would do anything for her brother, but she was unable to feed him the milk he desperately needed.
It was a year later, and Envy had never felt safer in all of her life. Her brother was older, stronger, and deflected their fathers attempt at harming the two sisters. Envy felt like she owed her brother something, but Perception and the sisters agreed that the only gift to be given was protection. Nothing mattered any more but surviving their father's evil, and fortunately, the needn't worry about that any longer.
Envy and her sister was three when they heard the news the tribe had a new leader: Perception. But their brother seemed to have no need of the tribe, thus disbanding it. _ pleaded with her brother to tell her what happened with their father, but he shrugged it off and shouted at her when ever she bought it up. Even though Envy felt safe with her brother, she still felt that he had a strange eeriness about him.
Two years after the herd disbanded and the family of four went their separate ways, the siblings mother fell seriously ill. It was heart breaking to see their mother like that, and Envy stayed with her sister for hours by the river bank that was their source of water. Envy sister at least showed some empathy, whilst their brother didn't even seem to be phased. And what was worse, Envy felt a darkness about Perception when he told them their mother had passed away. He seemed to have been crying, and Envy tried to dismiss the fact that their brother was not right in the head, but the small feeling still lay at the back of her mind, and she still carries this thought to this day..
