[googlefont="Oswald"][googlefont="Allura"][googlefont="Abel"] XERXES meet me and meet evil Seven years. Seven long years, and nothing to show for it. Curse it! The jet-black stallion snorted, his dark orbs slowly fading to a bright reddish hue. Curse this world! Seven years, and I have gained nothing. Nothing! Nothing...besides...Four years ago. It seemed like a lifetime ago. Many things had happened in that year. He had courted Envy, a spirited, flighty mare whom he eventually left, as the only common thing they had was anger and hurt and lust. He met his level of rival in a cave, and had a verbal spar with the solemn soul. He had interacted with an innocent fae - the first one he let go untouched. There were two other mares he encountered, but were failed attempts at cornering and abusing. After that eventful year, there has been little to no interactions. It did nothing for his dark state of mind, this devil of the night. After all, what was love? He only knew that as a basic need: lust. Hence the mistresses he has captured for his temporary pleasure. This prowling beast has let the darkness grow, until it was indistinguishable from his wicked appearance. WORDS: 193 | MUSE: ok | MUSIC: x | OOC: open to anyone! SWANSKI

It had been years since her beloved had been stolen from her, and still, Aphrodite continued to roam the lands, mourning silently. She couldn't voice her frustrations out loud; who would listen to her, a lone horse with no major accomplishments? So instead, she chose to try and move on, to find what little good she could in her current situation. "Good" meaning that, when she could, she'd find attractive, lone stallions to spend her time with. It was something to do, and while it didn't fill the hole that her beloved had left, Aphrodite found herself growing more used to that by the day. Her attention was caught by another lone figure moving through the grasses; quickly, Aphrodite made her way towards him, eager to greet this new stranger and perhaps, if she were lucky, gain some entertainment through it. "You know, it's not good to travel alone out here," She remarked, coming up next to him with a coy expression. Aphrodite was good at looking much sweeter than she was when the need arose, and this seemed like a good time to pull that sort of thing out, anyway. "I hope you don't mind the company. I'm sure we could find some way to amuse ourselves though, hm?" Despite her windblown mane, Aphrodite had managed to stay fairly clean recently, pleased that she didn't look as dirty as she had previously. At the very least, while she wasn't sure how willing this new stallion was going to be to amuse her, she would've met someone in this damned place. [WORDS: 262] Enchantress

[googlefont="Oswald"][googlefont="Allura"][googlefont="Abel"] XERXES meet me and meet evil The last place Xerxes expected to meet another soul was this forsaken place. Yet, a voice snapped him out of his trip down memory lane. His dark head shot up, eyes still glowing red from his emotional state. "Who said I was alone?" His deep voice murmured in return. It has been a while, but no one could say that he lost his flair for flirting. The stranger was a pretty looking mare, and it seemed like she had some interior motive for approaching him. Usually, females are wary when faced with this brute, but this mare certainly did not have any fear in stepping up to him. Was Fate finally showing herself a little merciful? "Your company is all I need, darling." They have not even exchanged names yet, but he was already eying her shapely form. After all, she had been bold in approaching him, and even her behavior suggested that she was an expert at flirting. Perhaps they could have some fun. Xerxes strode towards the mare, letting her see his powerful muscles rippling as he advanced. Living in the wild had made him hard and lean, and he certainly knew how to work his good looks. He circled her, taking note of her curves and the youthful shine in her coat. The stallion kept out of her personal space since he liked a little teasing first, and he was not sure how she would react. However, he was not prepared when she slid up right next to him. He let his coat brush hers - it was a brief contact, but he could feel her delicious warmth. She was a bold one, this girl. "What's a pretty little thing like you doing out here all alone?" Oh, so he was going to respond in a way that pleased Aphrodite. She hadn't entirely been expecting that, though her pretty appearance was generally enough to win her at least a second glance, one that proved to be more interested. However, this was going to be much more fun than she'd originally planned, a flicker of eagerness crossing her features before she schooled them back to a tamer expression. "Is that so?" She asked, her voice softer, almost innocent despite the challenge hidden in it, her gaze meeting his for a moment before she moved away. Teasing, playful, never standing close long enough to be pinned down. There was one stallion who'd managed to catch her, and he was gone now; she wouldn't be caught again.
Aphrodite's gaze slid over him, quietly admiring his strength; this alone would make the time she spent alone worth it, at least for a short while. It would depend how long she could make their game last; and the fact that he was choosing to flirt back with her likely meant that they could make it last for a long time indeed. "Looking for someone to keep me company, of course. Tell me, have you got someone waiting for you?" A mate somewhere, perhaps; or a love like the one she'd had, which only made the mare more determined to win him over. He didn't seem like the type to fall for anyone in the first place, which was fine by her; just as long as she got her fun.
"I'm sure they'd be willing to wait a little longer if so, hm?" Aphrodite continued, her voice soft, moving closer once more. She was something to be protected, admired, something to hold onto at that moment. She was always like that; she was determined to become an object of affection for anyone who chose to interact with her. She may have started their interaction, but the fact that he was continuing it showed promise; Aphrodite could definitely work with this. To have someone to travel with for a short time was an equally great prize; having been alone for a while, Aphrodite would take any company she could find. Especially in the form of handsome stallions.

[googlefont="Oswald"][googlefont="Allura"][googlefont="Abel"] XERXES meet me and meet evil A pleased grin slide over the stallion's features as the mare responded favorably. Xerxes had not expected this turn of events, much less a mare to just appear and come throw herself at him. Whether she actually had something like that in mind was still uncertain, but he would make sure his time with her was fruitful. Listening to what the mare said, Xerxes could see that she was just as starved for attention as he was. Of course, he would not admit that he had been lonely - heck no. But he would say that he enjoyed it. "Someone waiting for me?" He smirked, as only equines could. "I do believe she is standing right here in front of me." He was a stallion of smooth words, and he loved watching his words take effect on his target. In the past, he had certainly seduced several femmes with just a few words. There were some that managed to combat him, of course, but he was pleased to see that this mare was willing to comply. "They won't mind, I'll make sure of that." A time filled with company and maybe more? He was all for it. For now, however, he was only interested in temporary pleasure. He could care less about being in a relationship or having a mate. Whoever she was and whatever her background was, Xerxes could care less. All he wanted was right here in front of him. His body was already reacting to her. Too fast. He licked his maw. It's been too long. Too long. He stretched out his neck until he was almost nose to nose with the pretty female. "Mmmm," he breathed in her scent. "You smell just as good as you look, sweetie." She definitely looked like an experienced one, and that thought only made the stud more excited. She was not some innocent filly he had to teach - she would be able to please him. After all, from the looks of it, she would be on his level. Yes, his orbs shone, a different light this time, you would do.TAG: princess | WORDS: 351 | MUSE: good | MUSIC: xNOTES: These two xD SWANSKI

Handsome and smooth? That was something that Aphrodite could definitely get behind, her expression becoming more pleased by the second, amusement written all over her features as she glanced at the stallion beside her. This was not only fun for her, but it was fun for him as well, which only served to add more to their interaction; oddly enough, unlike some flirts who may enjoy a challenge more, Aphrodite liked to be admired rather than shied away from. She didn't go after shy stallions often; they simply didn't catch her eye. Power did. Charisma did. This stallion gave off an air of both, which only served to draw her closer, tempted by the appearance that he had. "Oh, do I?" Used to stallions drawing closer, Aphrodite had the good sense not to pull away, her own eyes sparkling a little as she met his gaze, almost prepared to dare him to try anything else. Go ahead, she thought, a quiet dare. Go for it, stranger. Names weren't important in this moment. All that mattered was the two of them, two strangers who had happened upon each other by chance, clearly using each other for a momentary fix, a momentary amusement. Aphrodite wasn't stupid enough to be drawn in for good, to want to stay with this stallion forever. He wouldn't have wanted her forever, anyway; after a while, her charms grew old, the drama that she craved grew tiresome, and her baggage grew too heavy to handle. She was too much for most, for all except one, and she didn't need to figure anything else out right now. "Do you know of anywhere better we could go? I'm not sure this... open area appeals to me much." Just for a short while, and then she would be on her way, on to the next companion. Aphrodite wasn't someone who liked to waste time; besides, if nothing else, this would give her momentary companionship that she so desperately needed. What would she do without it? Stallions could be so easily used when faced with a pretty face, a sweet word, a harmless gesture.. Aphrodite knew they didn't mind when she was gone later, they'd hardly known her. More often than not, they didn't even get her name. She didn't mind that.. after all, it made goodbyes so much easier. [WORDS: 390 || Enchantress ]

[googlefont="Oswald"][googlefont="Allura"][googlefont="Abel"] XERXES meet me and meet evil This mare...this mare was something different. That pertly nerve. The shameless sauciness. In all his years, he had never had such a willing companion who was practically throwing herself at him. He reached out and rested his head across her shoulders. Only for a brief moment, and he pulled back. If she liked playing games, he would comply. Then the mare was saying something about the area not fitting. "This open space?" A dark glint appeared in his eyes, desire shining in an brash manner. "Why, of course, my dear. I know just the place for our little game." There was a cave nearby that would suit their needs. With that, he led the way, looking back from time to time to make sure she was following. It would not be any fun if the mare chose to shy away at the last minute. It would be a disappointment, indeed. But for the meantime, she was playing along, and he will go with the flow for as long as it lasted. But oh, mares are interesting things. Always such a puzzle to piece together. Sometimes fickle to no end, sometimes loyal to death, and sometimes just plain confusing. But he did not mind trying to figure her out, nor any other, in that matter. A part of him felt little interest in actually doing harm upon the pretty seductress. Once inside the cave, he heard a dripping sound. He turned around, to see a light shower falling outside. "Looks like rain," he remarked. His tone was low and husky. "I suppose we will be in here for a while." He moved towards the mare, his powerful aura rolling off his coat in waves. TAG: princess | WORDS: 283 | MUSE: ok | MUSIC: xNOTES: -- SWANSKI

"I can live with that," The mare responded, her voice coy as she met the stallion's gaze. They hadn't exchanged names; it wouldn't have meant anything to her anyway, and honestly, it was easier for her to keep it like this.. meaningless. Something to pass the time, to keep her company for a short while until she could figure out what had happened to her love, and besides, who said she couldn't mess around with attractive stallions? On the off-chance that she did find him again, she doubted that he would want her anymore either way, but at least she would know where he was. That he was okay. It was truly the most selfless thing Aphrodite was capable of, being willing to let go of someone who had loved her, and even this was more for her agenda rather than out of love itself. She wasn't sure she would be able to give her new lifestyle up, after all. Even if she could, would it be worth it? She allowed him to move closer to her, preparing herself for what was to come... * * * [FADE OUT] * * * Aphrodite rarely stuck around for very long. She wasn't willing to allow herself to get trapped with a stallion for more than a day or two, after all, and some of them could be awfully clingy creatures. Yes, she was obviously a catch, but that didn't necessarily mean she wanted them following her around like lost little colts. Part of her wondered how much harm it would do to stay for a little while longer, to have some sort of hope that they could.. what, get along for a bit? Besides, he didn't seem like the type to cling onto her, either. The fact that he hadn't yet given his name told her that he was probably like her, moving between different partners, unwilling to settle down with one. Besides, the only partner she'd want to settle down with had been gone for a long time. There was nothing Aphrodite could do about that, and there was nothing she would do about it, yet. Perhaps one day she would find him, but for now, for one reason or another, she remained in the cave as if staying would help her atone for some of her sins. There were too many to count at this point, depending on how loosely the term was defined, and yet Aphrodite was trying. Shouldn't that count for something? Enchantress

[googlefont="Oswald"][googlefont="Allura"][googlefont="Abel"] XERXES meet me and meet evil When the ebony stallion first led the way to the cave, his actions were almost chivalrous. He had bowed his head as he let her go in first. "After you, m'lady." Almost, had he been a true gentleman. However, he was not, a half-bred brute from an unfaithful sire. Like father, like son. It was the sad truth, but one's action can be passed down the generations. In his case, it certainly did. However, unlike his sire, he did not allow himself to feel too much. Or rather, he chose not to. After all, his belief is that since there are none who stands by him, no one ever will. So why should he treat any differently? Not knowing true love, he only regards it as a basic need. And tonight, he got to meet that need, thanks to a willing partner. [fade out and in] Xerxes stood by the entrance of the cave, listening to the rain patter outside. It was the gentle shower of spring rain, cooling the air and the atmosphere. He had thoroughly enjoyed the union, but there is always the difficult part that came afterwards. What now? It was different with each mare. Some became incredibly angry and would throw a fit and usually a few hooves as well. Some were shocked, as if they did not really believe he would leave them so quickly. Others became sad, and still others were more understanding, those who went along with him to fulfill their basic needs. Now his head was cocked back, silently appraising the mare still inside. She really was a pretty little thing. He would not mind staying for a few more hours until the rain let up, unless she could convince him otherwise. He was viewed relationships like a spark. Once lit, it burns brightly and fiercely. But in the same manner, it will fizzle out in the same short time. A small part of him was curious, though, how she would act when he moved to leave. Would she become sad and beg him to stay? Would she become angry and start fighting him? Or would she move on, just like how he always did? Ah, mares were so complicated. Originally, Aphrodite had been planning to sneak out without him noticing; after all, that was what she usually went with, and it helped to keep the clingy stallions from tracking her down. However, with the stallion standing at the front of the cave, it threw a wrench in her plan; she would either need to find another way to get out (which was probably impossible), or she could wait for him to leave. He didn't seem like the clingy type either way, she could have walked out right past him and he may not have done anything to stop her. Moving towards the cave entrance, Aphrodite stopped beside him, still for a moment before she turned towards him to speak. "Off to the next mare?" She asked, her voice level. She couldn't fault him for having that type of lifestyle; she was the same way, and while she had enjoyed their time together (and wouldn't hesitate to make the same decision if they happened to run into each other again), she wasn't going to keep him from wandering off to find another mare. Some other target, perhaps someone like her, or someone who was more gullible, believing that he would love them. Aphrodite always felt bad for mares like that, but they would eventually grow hardened by the world just as she had; they would learn, one way or another. If this stallion didn't teach them, another would. "You should be going. Don't want to keep the next mare waiting for you, after all. I'm sure she'll be grateful for your company." Aphrodite herself would head off to the next stallion, hopefully someone who was willing to part ways without putting up a fuss. She could usually tell early on, but sometimes things changed after she'd stayed with one for a while. She would just have to be more careful, that was all. Enchantress

[googlefont="Oswald"][googlefont="Allura"][googlefont="Abel"] XERXES meet me and meet evil The feminine voice by his side startled him slightly, but her words did more than startle him. Xerxes swung his head towards her, studying her. The mare did not seem to be clingy, and seemed to be antsy. Perhaps she, too, was one of the rare ones who understood their union as a temporary gratification. "It sounds crass when you put it that way, my dear," he drawled, "but you're not wrong." She appeared to be taking it well. This sparked a hint of respect for this female. They were not too different, only seeking warmth and company with no strings attached. It made everything easier. Her next words confirmed his guesses. "Good point." Inwardly, the brute was pleased. Very pleased. "Maybe we'll exchange names next time." He smirked. She was a rare one indeed. No fuss and no strings attached. He could not have asked for anything better. He turned to look back outside. The rain was letting up - it was only a light sprinkle now. "Until next time then, sweetie." With that, the ebony stallion stepped backwards and aside, allowing the mare to leave if she so wished. He rather enjoyed this one. Her nonchalant attitude was something he was strangely attracted to, and would not mind bumping up to her again in the future if Fate would so have it.
